Divine Ikubor born in 2000, known by his stage name, Rema, is a Nigerian singer and rapper who is born into a Christian family. Rema grew up singing and rapping while in secondary school. He attained his primary and secondary school education in Edo State. Singer Rema isn’t born into a poor family nor a rich one; yet he struggles to become a star despite the discouragement which he poured out in one of his songs titled “WHY”.
Singer Rema was doing all his best, until D’Prince discovered him and got him signed after some interviews. He released his single titled “Iron Man” which shook the world. He was signed into Jonzing world at first, but later in Don Jazzy’s record label – Mavins.

Last year, on the 19th of October 2019, Rema won an award for the next rated artiste and was nominated for Viewer’s Choice at the 13th edition of The Headies. On 12 January 2020, he also received the Souncity MVP for best new artiste. He is still achieving till today.
